Doux Me was created in 2002 by Caroline Wachsmuth, a passionate aromatherapist originally from Switzerland. She left Europe for South Africa where she devoted herself to the study of essential oils and massage therapies in Johannesburg. She then settled in the USA and attended a course at the Aveda Institute. Shortly thereafter, she became a teacher at the New York Aveda Institute and presented seminars on aromatherapy.

The idea of Doux Me came to her as a necessity. No existing product on the market met all of her demands for pure, natural, efficient, fresh and glamorous skin care. When she came back from France, she fulfilled her dream and created Doux Me, without compromise. Caroline Wachsmuth is now at the head of a skin care line in constant evolution which is desired by some of the most selective and innovative shops around the world.
