Best Product You've Discovered Recently?
In light of the positive response I received from my last post on three industry favorites, I'll be posting my top three favorite finds on a monthly basis. This past month, I found three new products that make the cut.

Peachy Keen
RAW Natural Beauty introduced Natural Transformation Brightening Powder, a talc-free concealer that diffuses light and disguises skin imperfections. In a soft, peachy shade, the powder infuses extracts such as fresh water pearl, bamboo, Japanese honeysuckle and a blend of California poppy, milk thistle and chaparral for glowing skin. -
Alison Raffaele Cosmetics, formerly Skin Allison Rafefaele, re-launched its makeup line after adding natural ingredients and packaging. The reformulated products are free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, talc or fragrance. Featuring eco-friendly packaging made from recycled, recyclable or biodegradable material, Raffele's True Concealer, $23, Transparent Finish, $26, RealityBase Foundation, $44 and new Face Forward SPF 15 Primers, $38 now contain "Frutta di Vita". The antioxidant complex is made up of three powerful ingredients; pomegranate, goji berry and resverstrol, made from grape skin. Research indicates that resverstrol has the ability to slow the aging process. Celebrities near and far are flocking to get their hand on her new line. The former head assistant to internationally celebrated makeup-artist Bobbi Brown, has worked with such famous faces as Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Phoebe Cates and Kirsten Dunst over the years.

Glide-On
Pencil Me In Cosmetics, available exclusively online, launched a line of natural eye pencils. Blended with botanicals, antioxidants and vitamins, these cushiony, creamy eye pencils deliver powerful, vibrant color. All 30-shades go on smooth and stay soft for blending -about 30 seconds-, then dry to a long-lasting finish that won't smudge or budge. Line eyes with a hint of color or go for the full artistic, multi-hued effect. The images on the website promise to inspire new looks for day and all night.

Alison Raffaele products are enriched with vitamins A, C, and E, plus green tea to help protect and regenerate the skin; aloe, to calm and soothe; and seaweed extract, to firm the skin. Created by founder and director, Alison Raffaele, who was Bobbi Brown's first National Makeup Artist and International Trainer, Raffaele created her own cosmetics line, Skin in 2000, and the collection has blossomed.
We Love: The Tinted Moisturizer, $35, a protective, firming, oil-free moisturizer, with mineral based SPF 15. Available in five yellow-based shades, including Natural, which is colorless on all skin tones, and may be used alone or under makeup; Light, for fair complexions; Light Medium, for fair to medium complexions; Medium, for medium to medium golden complexions; and Dark, for deep golden to deep golden brown complexions. The products, which contain titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, are said to provide a natural, physical barrier against UVA/UVB rays; with an SPF 15. The mineral-based sunscreen system is contained in a tinted moisturizer that is not tacky, doesn;t smell, and, according to the company, unlike some titanium and zinc-based sunscreens, does not turn white or ashy on even the deepest skin tones.
