Rosy Glow

Kristin Adams, president of Afterglow Cosmetics was kind enough to send over a few samples for Beauty Buffet to try.  Kristin developed Afterglow Cosmetics out of her personal need for natural color cosmetics that not only out-performed traditional cosmetics but were also natural and fashionable.  We were really excited to try the brand --until we opened the box.  Once we took at  look at the shades, we let out a yikes!.  They all seemed, way too dark for our light skin tone.

Well friends, looks can be deceiving!  The Organic Glow Bronzer in Deep, $18 glides on delightfully with a Kabuki brush.  It's light and beautiful with a natural luminosity that is similar to the dewiness of a baby's skin. Sweep these illuminating minerals on your cheeks, forehead, and chin for an instant sun-kissed glow.

Try using them wet or dry and even mixed together to create new colors as you desire. Their all natural consistency makes them incredibly easy to apply and blend, flawlessly.  Gift is a cool, tall drink of medium-deep pink shimmer filled from the best sunset you've ever seen.  Tempt on the other hand is a warm, copper with shimmering gold undertones.  It looks stunning when foiled and used as a liner.  With an array of 25 shades from which to choose, there's something for everyone.  And if you tend to shy away from shimmer, opt for one of the 8 shades of Matte Eye Shadow
